Model

This shot was taken on location in Beijing just after sunrise. We awoke at 4a.m. to begin preparation. I was there on assignment for a Taiwanese entrepeneur who was showcasing the work of Mainland Chinese fashion designers. By the time we had finished shooting there was a crowd of nearly 500 curious onlookers. Subsequently we had to do all the street shooting as stealthily as possible. Each time we arrived at a planned location we would stand well back as I explained to the models and assistants their exact positions, then we'd all run in and get the shot done before too many people had gathered. It was hectic to say the least.........
